Fishing for runic sewing kits :
1/ craft a fishing tackle box.
2/ craft a worming shovel to collect bait from the swamp.
3/ go to swamp and dig up red, blue and green worms (much easier than clay).
4/ dbl click worms to use them as groundbait, throw them in the water and wait.
5/ kill anything that comes up (the usual serps and kraken plus the chance of luring sea sirens).
6/ excitedly see if you got lucky and the siren was carrying anything unusual.
*the sewing kits are a rare drop, the higher the quality the harder to get, but theres something else on random drop that is collectable* plus theres a chance of getting your worm back if she hasn't eaten it.
fishing for runic hammers :
1/ go fishing.
2/ keep fishing , you are looking to fish up mermaids purses (dogfish eggs).
3/ take home any purses you find and craft a fishing tackle box.
4/ using gems and a murmaids purse you can now craft sparkly murmaids purses to use to lure mermaids. (sparklies + females = result)
5/ set sail once more.
6/ double click the sparkly purses and throw them in the water.
7/ kill anything that comes up including any mermaids attracted by the purse.
8/ excitedly loot the mermaid to see if you got lucky.
*crafting the sparkly purses*
this will require 100 fishing and 50 tailoring.
each sparkly purse will require 1 mermaids purse and 100 gems. the gems used will determine the type of mermaid you have a chance of attracting.
ie: purse + 100 diamonds attracts valorite mermaid
purse + 100 emeralds attracts verite mermaid
etc....etc....
please bear in mind that you wont get stuff on every mermaid you pull, the last thing we want is to flood the runic market but we have added a set of cool collectables too with both systems so even if you dont get the runics theres other things as well.
the collectable set consists of 18 things, i wont say what they are, i'l let you discover them. I think theyre dead funky though.
Also now fishing rods are to be craftable only by fisher men via the fishing tackle box, with the addition of a few craftable rods to enhance the fishing skill for anyone not fully trained yet.
