we start your fel toon off with some crafting skills to get you going as if working alone you will need to build a boat.
obviously you can work in a team on oclo to build a joint boat to share, with some building fighting toons for protection whilst others craft the ship, or even get a lift straight to the mainland if another player is willing to sail to occlo to get you.
worth remembering, the only current npcs are in occlo so before leaving you may wish to buy up some skills you wish to develop.

*word of warning* as you step though the gate it resets your toon as well as your bank box. figuired i would throw that in just to eliminate the cries of "where did my 2 million gp go" or "where did my special clothing go". to get to fel your toon is indeed starting over. Also remember only one toon per account can go to fel and once there the only way out is to reset that toon.

When you start a new character, it will put you in a room with a blue gate for tram that takes you to the skill gates. In that same room there is a red gate and a pink gate....these gates take you to fel. There are books there, please read them to make sure you make the right choice ;D

Can we really have as many as we want? I thought the character number got expanded to two was all. I kinda liked the limiting of toons you can have in fel because it adds to the challange. If everyone in fel is allowed to have a crafter then the crafting market has just crashed. Why buy when you can make your own. I know that some will still sell and manage ok, not everyone will want a crafter and even those that have crafters may not be able to make everything they need or want. I thought two was a good number (I thought one was even more challenging) because it allows you a little more variety but still requires you to really think through what kind of character you want to develop in fel instead of just being able to have every kind of toon in fel. Anyways that's just my thoughts on that.

I like the 2 character rule gives you a little room but not enough to have 1 of everything. but I don't think we should be able to move our whole account to fel it seems that it would defeat the purpose of what we were trying to accomplish with fel if we had access to having 1 of every character. Just my 2 cents though. I will definatly wait for Carpes answer =o)

We do happen to be taking about fel, not siege. I howver enjoyed both, but the ability to have more characters wont effect you selling goods, will just enable people to create different templates and try new things, well at least thats what I'll use the extra slots for myself.

actualy the rule set that we were discussung, is niether fel or siege at least in thier purest sence......it was more of a cross breed of both in many ways. Also guess it dont really matter anyway.
